1. Are your spices fresh? What is their shelf life?
Yes! At Burçak Baharat, freshness is our top priority. We procure and grind our products frequently in small batches. To maintain their freshness, we ship them in special airtight, light-tight packaging. The shelf life and best-before date (BEST-BEST-BY) are stated on the packaging.
2. How should I store my spices?
To preserve the aroma and freshness of your spices for a long time, we recommend storing them in a cool, dry, and dark place. Keep them away from heat and moisture, such as near your stove. You can store them in their original packaging or in an airtight jar.
3. Do your products contain additives, preservatives, or MSG?
Almost all of our products are 100% natural and contain no additives or preservatives. Some of our special spice blends (e.g., seasonings) may contain ingredients that meet legal limits. You can review the ingredients of each product in detail in the "Ingredients" section on its individual pages.
4. Do you have organic products?
Yes, you can find our certified organic products under our "Organic" category. These products have been grown and processed in accordance with organic farming standards.
5. When will my order ship?
Orders placed during the week are generally delivered the same day. Orders placed on the weekend are processed on Monday.
6. How can I track my order?
When your order ships, we will send you an SMS and email with your tracking number. You can use this number to track your package's location on the courier company's website.
7. What are your payment methods? Is your website secure?
You can pay on our website by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), debit card, or wire transfer/EFT. Our website is protected by a 256-bit SSL certificate. 9. Can I return food products?
Due to food safety and hygiene standards, we cannot accept returns on food products that have been opened, used, or tasted. However, we are happy to assist you with the return or exchange of products that were delivered to you with an error or defect in their packaging.
